Good beef doesn’t need much froufrou, and this is obvious at Adi Steak House. The focus on high quality is visible in the clean and elegant decor, and even more so in the selection of beef cuts that the owner himself brings over to Cluj from his suppliers abroad. Argentinean Black Angus and American Red Angus are core to the menu, accompanied by various side dishes such as asparagus or corn chilli. Steaks are cooked to order and perfectly so – remember to ask the attentive staff for the exotic salts (Persian blue or black Hawaiian), and for a pairing from the concise wine list. Try also the fortunate combination of buttery, rich apple cake with cinnamon, and a scoop of homemade ginger ice cream.
