The menu is vast: the duck liver with cranberries successfully balances sweet and tangy, the octopus in a rich tomato sauce with capers, green olives and accompanied by potato gratin takes you straight to the seaside of an Italian village, and the duck breast with a sweet and sour sauce and sweet potatoes puree is a nice combination, well executed, just as the classic meringue with wild berries dessert.
