Adorned with gold-framed oil paintings and old black and white photographs, this vintage-themed restaurant rather has the atmosphere of a lively bar – but with a surprisingly extensive food menu, ranging from pastas, to classic European meat dishes and burgers. The homemade ravioli, topped with cherry tomatoes, parmesan, sage, and crunchy pine nuts, is worth a try, while the fork tender duck leg confit, served with potato wedges and a sweet sauce infused with orange and a mild hint of anise, is a sure bet. The wine menu is quite generous, along with local craft beers and spirits, milkshakes and frappés. Fish and seafood aficionados will find more ambitious dishes on the Thursday special menu.
