This Israeli themed restaurant, located in the middle of the old town, distinguishes itself thanks to the carefully decorated two-storied house and the surprisingly quiet atmosphere, especially on the second floor. Ronen Meri has built a rather extensive menu, offering Mediterranean classics such as baba ganoush or falafel, but also pastas, various steaks and seafood dishes. A dish worth trying is the Israeli style seabass in a clay pot. The fish is well cooked and interestingly seasoned (black pepper, nutmeg, paprika), and goes very well with the steaming couscous. Also to be noted is the good selection of Romanian wines, many available by the glass.
