Starting with October 6, 2019, Bistro GUXT is closed for relocation. As of 2020 it will function at a new address, not yet communicated. _____ Chef: Carmen DIACONU A small family bistro run by the Diaconu sisters, GUXT is sheltered from the city center’s rush, in a villa with a boldly colored design and warm atmosphere. The menu is short, created by Carmen Diaconu, and offers some comforting bistro dishes – chicken liver and foie gras mousse with chili jam –, but also some that prove interest in creative combinations. And it works, considering the homemade pasta with matured egg yolk, porcini mushrooms, white wine and fennel stock, or the duck breast with parsnip purée, parsley sponge cake, caramelized plums, raspberry sauce and – surprise – a spiced meringue. The wine and beer pairing is an asset, as well as the service, coordinated by Alice Diaconu.
