L'avis de Gault&Millau

Chef: Cătălin JERNOIU Located inside the Floreasca market, BistroMar absorbs the surrounding vibrant energy, well suited for a Mediterranean seafood bistro (and shop). Visits start at the fish stall, which ranges from fresh tuna or salmon fillet, to seafood, and less common species such as the tub gurnard. Fish is then cooked on the spot, on the griddle or in the oven, in the open kitchen coordinated by Cătălin Jernoiu. The menu is also influenced by regions known for the coastal gastronomy: the Cacciucco siciliano soup, with at least five kinds of fish and seafood in a light tomato and wine sauce, or the spicy octopus à la Gallega. And if the fish was convincing enough, you can also buy it to go, raw or cooked. Discover more about BistroMar on our new local gastronomy platform. Here you can also find reviews for other <a href=" "target="_blank"> restaurants from our extended community, as well as Romanian wines reviews – all carefully selected following our guide’s international standards.
