Occupying the former location of Pescarul restaurant, with its 60’s emblematic boat-shaped building by the Danube already a local landmark, Blue Acqua is the new(er) fish place in town. The menu is broad enough to cover every fish based dish – from soups and appetizers to mains, pasta, rice or salads, mainly traditional and simple. For a taste of local starters, the Danube Platter has it all: marinated and smoked fishes, fish loaf, fish and vegetable spread, meatballs and the ubiquitous pike roe salad. The zander saramura (brine) or any choice from the catch of the day are good examples that fresh fish, cooked with care, is always a hit. To be enjoyed with a glass of Măcin wine, from the neighboring Tulcea county.
