Chef: Romi HARABAGIU
Built in 1911, overlooking the Bucegi Mountains and Caraiman Peak, the recently restored and opened to the public Cantacuzino Castle is also the home of Canta Cuisine restaurant. Carefully designed by Romică Harabagiu, the French inspired fine dining menu is concise, yet full of tempting dishes. The Famous Fillet Rossini or the Duck Breast L’Armagnac are good examples of the chef’s technique, with well-cooked meats accompanied by flavorful delicacies such as the foie gras, or the Duchess potatoes with truffles. Choosing the wine might be harder, since the selection of Romanian and international labels is extensive, including their signature wines from Mănăstirea Jercalai, only available at the venue.
