L'avis de Gault&Millau

Chef: Adrian BOSCU Between Sibiu and Brașov, with the snowy mountains on one side and gentle rolling hills on the other, Cincșor is a traditional Saxon village where a German-Romanian family has turned the old parish house and abandoned school into a guesthouse. The result is spectacular, with remarkable restoration works and careful design that respects the spirit of the place. The guesthouse’s restaurant offers a set lunch and dinner menu, created daily by Adrian Boșcu by using local ingredients and a blend of traditional and modern techniques. Take the homemade ravioli with locally sourced ricotta, or the beef tenderloin accompanied by a Saxon dumpling. Include this place in your next vacation – and book ahead.
