In an old house near the city center, with a big garden and an artsy spirit that celebrates imperfections, Dianei 4 is one of the establishments favored by Bucharest hipsters. The menu includes brunch dishes, soups, salads, as well as gourmet burgers, quesadilla – with tender ribeye steak, melted cheeses, and a fresh salsa for balance –, or Ella’s Goulash, already a celebrity of the house, boldly seasoned and served with homemade bread. The cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks menus are creative (try the Palinka Ienibahar Toddy), and the wine selection, also by the glass, is varied. Service might be slow, in tune with the bohemian atmosphere.
