Din Fu

L'avis de Gault&Millau

Din Fu is a matter-of-fact, no frills, Chinese restaurant. The interior, while clean, is quite somber, the menu is characteristically overwhelming, and the service is a bit of a Russian roulette, but all is forgiven when the food starts crowding the table. The pork dumplings are freshly made and juicy. The Sichuan salad with pickled cucumber, cauliflower, celeriac and cabbage is spicy and goes well with everything in the meat section. The duck spring rolls come piping hot and in glass-shattering crispy skin, with a nicely seasoned filling. And the fried mutton – crispy, juicy, fatty, mysteriously fragrant of who knows what spices – will surely haunt your dreams after the next late-night partying session.
