El Bacha

L'avis de Gault&Millau

Chef: El Abed ROGER El Bacha is one of the oldest Lebanese restaurants in Bucharest – located at the ground floor of an apartment building in Piața Alba Iulia, and with a décor reminding of times past, which only adds to its charm. As you would expect from a veteran, the menu is classic and generous. Either you choose one of the many meat dishes, such as the spicy Sujok sausages or a kebab with tahini sauce, best matched by saffron rice or a fresh flatbread, or maybe go for a cooked dish such as the bean and chickpeas Foul Mudamas, here you will find the authentic taste of Lebanon. Including drinks, for you can accompany the meal with a refreshing ayran, a strong arak or a Lebanese coffee.
