As far from the sea as it may be, Ema del Mar manages to give the feeling that the Mediterranean waves are right outside the door. The menu includes pastas and paellas, cooked simply with fresh, good quality ingredients, ensuring well-defined flavors. The Spaghetti allo Scoglio are a true seafood festival, attended by mussels, Saint Jacques scallops, shrimp, octopus and calamari. The tuna steak is tender and shines under a fragrant olive oil dressing. As for desserts, the creamy homemade panna cotta brings a comforting, homey finish. Wine is absent from the menu – but only because it has a dedicated room, where you may choose a matching Romanian or international companion.
