This restaurant was evaluated at 12 points and 1 toque while Dragoș Andrei RADU was its head-chef. RADU ceased his collaboration with the restaurant starting with August 2019. The restaurant will be re-visited before the next edition of the Gault&Millau guide. ____ Chef: Dragoș Adrian RADU The joy of discovery might be the utmost selling point of Frank Dessert Bar – starting with the easy to miss location, at the ground floor of an office building, the intimate atmosphere, and the menu, which does not limit itself to desserts. And luckily so, since it’s quite unique and features excellent ingredients. The names are cryptic – Avocado Louis, or Gnudi and nothing more –, and hide culinary gems such as the homemade ricotta dumplings drenched in a fragrant citrus sauce, topped with snap peas, enoki, and a touch of black truffle. Desserts are just as surprising and impressive – we’ll only say Orange Confit and nothing more. The wine menu is also brief yet well paired, with a good offer by the glass.
