L'avis de Gault&Millau
Chef: Doru IFRIM
Hambar is a Brasserie-Charcuterie-Bakery that offers precisely what it promises: a Parisian atmosphere and fresh, good quality ingredients, all in an area that makes it easily accessible and popular. The onion soup sets the tone for the experience – a classic French dish adapted through the addition of the Romanian goat and sheep’s cheese gratin. The veal cheeks are an example of attention to detail: served in a wine and balsamic vinegar reduction, with sautéed asparagus and broccoli, and a truffle puree. And the apple pie is a beautiful reminder of homemade childhood sweets. For a light dinner, you can opt for the local cold cuts and cheese platter, accompanied by a glass of wine from the quite generous selection.
