Chefs: Niculina GOCIMAN & Cosmina STOICA With a modern and colorful design, where wood and brick make good companions with stainless steel, La Ceaun (literally, “cooked in a caldron”) takes on the mission to bring a fresh twist to the traditional Romanian cuisine. The menu hits all soft spots with well prepared dishes, using mostly local ingredients. A starter that will please all is Pita unsă cu de toate, a selection of traditional spreads – mashed beans with sautéed onions, roe salad, and zacuscă – all on hot plate toast. As for the main, the beef goulash is a sure bet. The wine list is limited, but the selection of craft beers and spirits easily compensates.
