Mandaloun brings the Middle Eastern richness of colors and flavors in a broad space, decorated according to the well-known style of the region (including a veranda where you can smoke a hookah), live music, and a cosmopolitan menu: Lebanese, first of all, but also with some generous international sections, which gives the feeling of more restaurants in one. Oriental tastes are put to good use, such as the pine nuts in the hummus, the saffron in the lamb leg with rice and almonds, or the pomegranate molasses for the mutton with onions. To end the meal, kashta – the clotted milk with bananas and pistachios – is a good choice for a light dessert.
