Mikkeller is beer lover’s heaven – the menu boasts 20 artisanal beers with distinct personalities, luckily also available in tasting glasses. The food menu is eclectic and fun, reminding of hip food markets and fitting the experimental beer personality. It ranges from tidbits to almost substantial mains, such as the fried spicy chicken sandwich with kimchi coleslaw with chili and ginger mayonnaise. Or the sweet-savory Mangalitsa sausage with caramelized Brussels sprouts and pickled radishes. The Crack Fritters are dangerously true to their name – the ricotta doughnuts are fried on the spot, served piping hot with sour cream and homemade berry jam, and potentially addictive.
