With a more and more cosmopolitan food scene, Bucharest offers culinary trips as far as Korea. Located at the top floor of a villa in Piața Domenii, Seoul has an authentic atmosphere, with K-Pop blaring from the wide-screen TVs, and booths where natives sing karaoke in the evenings. The kimchi and egg fried rice is a sure bet, as well as Japchae – glass noodles with sesame oil and vegetables. The Korean BBQ is a do-it-yourself experience: you grill the beef or pork meat at the table, wrap it in lettuce leaves, and accompany it with crunchy vegetables (cucumber, garlic, chili). The ginger, plum or cereal tea, but also a glass of soju will nicely complete the meal.
