A place of many faces, Teatris is located in the former Popular Cinema, initially built as an extension to one of the city’s well known early 20th century mansions, now turned into a bar, club, restaurant, and other social events venue. While the terrace sticks to a simpler design, the interior leans towards a rather flamboyant décor, and the menu tries to accommodate all occasions. Without strictly following a specific cuisine, there are noticeable Italian and French influences – the shrimp and zucchini risotto, or the foie gras with spicy peach chutney are worth a try. The drinks list is even longer than the food menu, ideally to be enjoyed on the relaxed terrace.
